Depends if you want to actually be able to access the money or whether you are happy to wave goodbye to it?

If you are happy to wave goodbye to it and not access it for awhile then invest it bonds or a high interest bank account, if that fails you could always hide it under your mattress and forget about it until a rainy day, sure it wont earn you interest but at least it will get you out of a pickle if you ever get stuck for cash.
